creation and marketing strategy. She started her digital advertising journey in 2013. After gaining invaluable experience, Sarah was determined to create her own business. She started Story Silo Media in 2018, and since then, Sarah has worked with dozens of companies ranging from startups and established businesses!

Julianne Sawyer is a marketing content strategist and copywriter. Originally from Bangor, Maine, she spent 8+ years honing her craft in San Francisco and Maui, Hawaii before moving back to where it all began. Julianne has worked with a variety of clients—from small businesses to global tech giants—including Samsung, HP, Google, Brightside Health, Hims & Hers, Arena Solutions, and more. In her free time, she enjoys designing and decorating her first home with her husband, checking out the latest restaurants, and enjoying all the beauty that the state of Maine has to offer.

The second half of our name
We want to transform the meaning of silo into something that reflects community and positivity. Maine is filled with large silos that hold grain harvested by hard-working farmers who take liberty in caring for every single piece. This symbol embodies our mission: to build long-lasting relationships through harvesting our clients’ stories and journeys in our own “silo.” This speaks to the way that Story Silo brings visions to life while creating a clear, strategic compass and a detailed tactical roadmap for each and every client. We are not about taking a buckshot approach to lead generation. Instead, we place your company in the most effective environment and equip it with the proper tools to become sell-able and reach your greatest potential. You can serve plain rice, or create rice pudding… Which one is sweeter?

Jessica Bruns is a recent graduate of Husson University where she earned her degree in marketing and communication. During her studies, she also earned certificates in graphic design, digital media, social media marketing, and web media. Over the past several years, she’s gained marketing experience through internship, freelance, and volunteering opportunities where she created graphics for print, social media, and web. Jessica lives in Brewer, and in her free time she enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with her dog, Taffy.
